Would have fooled me...

James Coldwell, 49, was arrested in Manchester, N.H., in July and charged as the man who robbed a Citizen Bank branch dressed as a tree (branches duct-taped to his body and head, obscuring much of his face, though he was still identified from the security camera).

Redheads set for extinction

Found this article to be a little scary! Where would the world be without us!

PETER Beattie, Nicole Kidman and Michael Voss are. So were William Shakespeare, Christopher Columbus and Queen Elizabeth the First. According to genetic scientists redheads are becoming rarer and could be extinct in 100 years. But the future doesn't look bright for people with ginger hair.

The current National Geographic magazine reports that less than 2 per cent of the world's population has natural red hair - created by a mutation in northern Europe thousand of years ago.
Global intermingling, which broadens the availability of possible partners, has reduced the chances of redheads meeting and so producing little redheads of their own.
Although it takes only one red-haired parent to produce ginger babies, two redheads obviously creates a much stronger possibility.
Some experts warn redheads could be gone as early 2060, but others say the gene can be dormant in the reproductive system for generations before returning.
National Geographic says the gene at first had the beneficial effect of increasing the body's ability to make vitamin D from sunlight. However, today's carriers are more prone to skin cancer and have a higher sensitivity to heat and cold-related pain.

Engagement

Well its been a while since I last sat down and had a serious attempt at a blog. Over the last month many things have happened that has just pointed my life into the right direction. The biggest one was getting engaged to my now fiancé Mandy!

So how did it happen? Well Mandy saw a ring she liked and hinted at it pretty strongly, and I played dumb explaining that I was on student wages and couldn't possibly afford a ring to get engaged right at this second! So she was at work and I bought it! I got on the phone to the USA, that was easier than I thought, and got permission from the Dad!

I walked down to Ella and hid in her office. An announcement went over the loudspeaker saying that there was a package in Mandy's office and when she walked in I was there doing the whole on one knee trick!

So the rest is future! So weddings and engagement partys are next. I'll keep you all posted!

Procrastination

US GP

Hamilton is the first British Driver since the legendary Damon Hill to win his first two races back to back. People are hailing this British driver as the next Schumacher.... but every driver that has a good spurt gets that mantle anyway, so I'm not reading to much into it.
The US GP was a good one, but I think Hamilton was given the win by his team, and didn't deserve it. Alonso has every right to feel ripped off. But the politics of Formula one will never go away.
Good to see Mark Webber score much needed points. About time to, his car has been hopeless ever since that new gearbox went in it.
Anyway I think Hamilton will be handed the championship by the team, because he is the flavour of the month at the moment. Sucks to be Alonso....

Hahn Boobs

Another day another FUNNY Hahn beer ad. Now I love beer ads, I think they are witty and all in good humour, but the newest ad called 'Hahn Boobs' is now under fire from the Victorian Health Minister Todd Harper saying

"Our concern is not only the TV ad but the internet component which takes it to extremes in the inappropriate portrayal of drinking and sexual prowess"

Now I had a look at this site, and I thought it was freakin hilarious!

Here is the site.....

Formula One Safety

The 2007 Canadian GP was one of the weirdest races I have seen in a while! Lap after lap something was happening! There was even a Honda Civic or Accord of some type as the pace car... weird.
The biggest event of the race was Robert Kubica's crash, unbelievable that he only came out with a broken leg! These photos catch the moments as best as any video camera would have....

Jesus was his co-pilot....

Funny Photo...

Well I love internet photos that pop up that are just catch you off guard! I've found some really funny photos and over the next few whenever's I'm going to share a few of my favourites! Here is the first!

Its New, Its Super, Its Sauly!

Hey Hey!
Finally got me a blogger! Yes I have broken away from the mypace trend... well not 100%... But the blogging system in myspace was really beginning to annoy me! So I thought hey, why not find a sight designed for blogging! Also I see these blog websites less of a 'Fan Club' and more of a way to get thoughts down on a screen and hear what people have to say about it...
Cool!
Till Next Time!
